Boekestijn Transport Service is active in many different ways to compensate or reduce the CO2 emissions. Several programs have been in place last year, such as replacing the fleet with Euro 6 trucks (85% done), starting a tire management program for less fuel consumption and driver trainings on ECO driving (more than 500 done already!). While re-constructing the office in The Netherlands, there were solar panels installed on the roof. A big success, according Arno Boekestijn, as the solar panels generate more energy as the entire office is using. Proud on the energy-generating solar panels and the overall results so far, Boekestijn Transport Service is still actively searching for the next initiatives to increase the compensation of CO2 emission.
