Inside Sales Assistant

In the role of Sales Representative is to provide support to our sales team with a commercially driven focus.

In the after-sales process you are ready for the customers with their questions and challenges. You arrange this yourself and / or together with colleagues from the other departments. This also means that, where necessary, you switch and consult with our international partners to achieve the best options and also provide the best service. Ultimately, the goal is to provide the customer with an optimal and complete transport. Service and quality are of paramount importance to Boekestijn Transport Service!

Your will be responsible for


• Independent active mapping of customers and prospects;

• assess (telephone) acquisition and prospects;

• Prepare quotations and issue rates to customers and prospects;

• Working out customer tenders in consultation with sales and operations;

• Can advise customers on the transport services to be offered;

• Support the commercial planners for structural return cargo;

• Working in a team with your sales colleagues in the Netherlands and abroad;

• Maintaining and optimizing our CRM system.

Job requirements


• At least 3 years of experience in logistics and transport.

• Smart and digital.

• Proficiency in Dutch and English, spoken and written, German is an advantage.

• Clear telephone voice, good listening and of course you are flexible.
