Over the years, I delved into the intricacies of operational processes while pursuing both my bachelor's and master's degrees.
A turning point occurred when I transitioned to the role of a Business Process Modeler, aligning with my studies in Supply Chain Management. In 2016, my journey with Boekestijn Transport started as an intern in the planning department at our Mill headquarters.

Managing Director

As Managing Director of our Dublin office, which I established in 2017, I take great pride in contributing to the continued growth and success of our organization. My relationship with the company began over 35 years ago, when I became its very first customer, and it has been a privilege to witness its development into the trusted and respected transport provider it is today.

Debtor Controller

I started my journey at Boekestijn in 2022, to be more precise, on February 14th. That is why I always say it was love at first sight. From the very beginning, I realized this company is not only about business, it’s also about people who truly care. The mottos “People First” and “Driven by WOW” are not just words on paper, they truly reflect the spirit that everyone here shares. In my early months here, I was genuinely touched by some messages shared by our Board. One spoke about delivering a much-needed power generator to an elderly home in Moldova, transported from Romania.

Over my five years with Boekestijn I have been so impressed with the professionalism of my colleagues in all of our offices. Everyone gives 100% and does it with a smile. Problems are solved efficiently and with minimum fuss. It’s a pleasure to deal with colleagues such as these and the feedback from our customers is always superb.

Driver

My venture into the transportation industry was not without its challenges. Despite obtaining all the necessary qualifications, I faced reluctance from potential employers. Many companies were apprehensive about hiring a young and inexperienced woman as a driver. However, the experience was different at Boekestijn. The company allowed me to gain experience gradually, enabling me to navigate through various European destinations, including England and Ireland, in my current capacity.
